Accepting New Clients
“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.” – Carl Rogers
Hi, I’m Hailey Cerise, LCSW. I hold this quote close to my work as a therapist. I believe healing begins with self-acceptance, and that meaningful, lasting change grows from a foundation of compassion, curiosity, connection, and care. These values guide how I show up with clients and shape the therapeutic relationship we build together.
My therapeutic philosophy is rooted in a humanistic approach, emphasizing empathy, authenticity, and a deep respect for each person’s capacity for growth. I integrate attachment-based and psychodynamic perspectives to explore how early experiences influence present-day patterns, and I incorporate somatic techniques to support the connection between body and mind. As a trauma-informed therapist, I also draw from evidence-based modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), thoughtfully tailoring treatment to each client’s unique needs and goals.
I work with teens and adults navigating a wide range of concerns, including low self-esteem, attachment-related challenges, body image concerns, identity exploration, anxiety, depression, ADHD, complex trauma, and family or relational dynamics. I also welcome individuals seeking support for other emotional or psychological experiences—therapy is a space where every part of your story is worthy of exploration.
Above all, my goal is to support you in cultivating a more connected, empowered, and authentic relationship with yourself and with others. Wherever you are in your journey, I am here to meet you with attunement, curiosity, and compassion.
When I’m not working, I love taking advantage of Utah’s beautiful outdoor spaces. You can often find me hiking or camping, enjoying time in nature alongside my loyal canine companion, Harvey.
