Meet Amberlee

Hi! I’m Amberlee, and I’m deeply passionate about working with teens and their families. My approach is grounded in empathy, trust, and a commitment to healing and growth. I strive to create a safe and supportive environment where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered to move beyond their past and toward their goals. My work is centered around helping families reconnect, improve communication, and develop healthier, more fulfilling relationships.

As a nationally certified and Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Teacher, I bring a unique blend of educational and clinical expertise to my practice. Working in adolescent residential treatment from 2012 - 2025, I’ve supported teens through a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and relational challenges. I also spent time in community mental health, specializing in adoption, attachment disorders, trauma, adolescent behavioral issues, and substance abuse. These experiences have shaped my holistic approach and strengthened my ability to meet each client where they are. Currently outside of PurpleSky, my work centers around supporting young adults through substance abuse challenges and life transitions through a hybrid model of residential treatment and outdoor therapy.

Before becoming a licensed clinician, I spent several years in the classroom, utilizing my undergraduate degrees in secondary and special education. I taught high school and served as a special education coordinator, where I developed a deep understanding of the academic and emotional pressures that teens face. This background allows me to support my clients not only in their personal development but also in their educational journey.

I am trained in a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Play Therapy. I am also certified in Equine-Assisted Therapy through EAGALA, and I absolutely love incorporating horses into my therapeutic work. Horses offer a powerful and intuitive presence that helps repair familial, attachment, and communication issues in a unique and healing way.

Outside of my professional life, I’m the proud mother of four amazing children and grandmother to one young grandson. We are an active, adventurous family who love spending time in the great outdoors. Whether we're boating and wake surfing, riding ATVs, skiing or snowboarding, hiking, or camping, we’re happiest when we’re outside and together.

Helping clients and their families heal and grow is not just my profession—it’s my calling. I feel honored to walk alongside my clients as they navigate challenges, discover their strengths, and build the future they deserve.

Danielle Bunker, LAMFT (She/Her)

Meet Danielle

Hi, I’m Danielle. I’m a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (LAMFT) who is passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families feel more connected, secure, and understood, especially during seasons when life feels overwhelming or heavy.

I work with women, couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, relationship conflict, life transitions, divorce, remarriage, and the complexities of blended families. Many of the clients I work with struggle with people-pleasing, setting boundaries, putting their own needs aside, or feeling stuck in patterns that leave them disconnected from themselves and the people they love. My goal is to create a safe and supportive space where you can slow down, explore what’s happening beneath the surface, and begin to move toward clarity, confidence, and deeper connection.

My primary approach is Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), an attachment-based model that helps us understand how our emotional experiences shape the way we relate to ourselves and others. I believe that many of the patterns that create distress in our lives (anxiety, shutdown, conflict, or emotional overwhelm) are protective responses that developed in the face of pain, unmet needs, or disconnection. When we begin to understand these patterns through the lens of attachment and compassion, meaningful change becomes possible.

In our work together, we focus not just on behaviors, but on the deeper emotions and attachment needs driving them. I integrate attachment theory, trauma-informed care, somatic processing, nervous system regulation, and polyvagal-informed interventions to support healing at both the emotional and physiological levels. Because trauma and stress can live in the body as well as the mind, I help clients develop awareness of their nervous system and learn ways to create safety and regulation during difficult emotional experiences.

Clients often share that they feel deeply seen and emotionally safe in our sessions. My style is collaborative, compassionate, and engaged. I believe therapy works best when you feel supported by someone who is genuinely present with you, and I hold that responsibility with care.

Whether you are a couple caught in painful relational cycles, a family navigating transition, or an individual carrying anxiety, shame, or depression, my hope is to help you move from survival and isolation toward greater emotional security, connection, and self-understanding.

When I’m not working with clients, I enjoy spending time with my husband, kids, and grandkids, taking my dog for walks, reading, and watching movies.

It would be an honor to walk alongside you in your healing journey.
