Medication can make an enormous difference. And the difference between good medication management and rushed medication management is whether someone is actually paying attention.
I'm a physician assistant specializing in psychiatric care. I work with teens and adults on ADHD, depression, anxiety disorders, OCD, PTSD, social anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and personality disorders. I'm newer to this specialty and I bring that honestly: it means I stay current on the evidence, ask thorough questions, consult when I'm unsure, and won't pretend to have all the answers.
I work closely with the therapists at Purple Sky. Medication works best alongside good therapy, and I want to know what's happening in both rooms.

I ask a lot of questions. I follow up. I adjust. Good psychiatric care is iterative, not a matter of writing a prescription and hoping for the best.
I collaborate with each patient's therapist and communicate proactively when something changes. Getting the right medication approach takes time, adjustment, and partnership. I'm here for that process.
