Meet Ruth

Hello! I am Ruth. With a heart devoted to holistic healing and spiritual care, I bring a multifaceted approach to supporting individuals and families through life’s most meaningful transitions. As a Marriage and Family Therapist, Reiki Master, and Board-Certified Chaplain specializing in end-of-life care, I am honored to walk alongside those navigating both grief and joy.

I work with individuals, couples, and families as they move through experiences of grief, identity shifts, spiritual awakening, and trauma recovery. My work is rooted in a holistic philosophy that integrates emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being. I have a special passion for supporting neurodivergent clients, those healing from spiritual trauma, and individuals exploring identity, transition, or grief.

My therapeutic style is shaped by years of spiritual study and healing practice, including time spent with the Lakota tribe, my devotion as a practicing Buddhist, and a deep commitment to Eastern medicine and religious theology. I am trained in EMDR therapy and also draw on my background as a Licensed Massage Therapist and Reiki Master to offer a grounded, somatic approach. These experiences inform a gentle, integrative style that honors the whole person: mind, body, and spirit.

Outside the therapy room, I hold personal records in ultra-running events and was honored with the Make Utah Beautiful Award. I grew up on a cattle ranch in Idaho, where I learned the value of hard work, care for others, and the grounding wisdom of nature. I still find peace hiking, cycling, spending time with animals, and soaking in the outdoors.

I strive to create a sacred, nurturing space where healing unfolds naturally and authentically. If you're seeking therapy that honors your full self, emotionally, spiritually, and physically, I’d be honored to walk with you on your journey.
