Hi, I’m Alexis
You keep replaying it in your head, wondering how you got here, whether it was your fault, whether you're “too much” or somehow not enough. Maybe you learned young to read everyone else's moods before your own. Maybe a partner, a parent, or an assault left a mark you've never fully said out loud. If you're exhausted from carrying that alone, you don't have to keep doing it alone.
I work with adults healing from relational trauma: domestic violence, sexual assault, attachment wounds, narcissistic abuse recovery, and relationships that slowly chip away at your sense of self. I also support adults with anxiety, self-doubt, grief, life transitions, and LGBTQIA+ identity, and I make room for the added weight of minority stress as a member of the LGBTQ+ Therapist Guild of Utah.
I won't sit in silence and nod while you do all the work. My job isn't to judge you or rush you. It's to help you understand what happened, why it still shows up, and how to move toward something steadier. Many of the people I work with have spent years managing everyone else; here, you get to be the one who's taken care of.

EMDR is my primary tool for processing trauma at the nervous system level, and I'm currently working toward EMDR certification. I also draw on IFS-informed parts work, NARM, ACT, DBT, and mindfulness-based skills, held inside a humanistic, feminist, strengths-based frame, paced to your nervous system rather than a calendar.
I'm especially drawn to trauma and relationship healing, and I'm currently completing certification as a narcissistic abuse treatment clinician.
