Counseling & Therapy Services in Utah
Purple Sky Counseling offers counseling, medication management, testing, and specialty services for children, teens, adults, couples, and families across Utah. Services are designed to support people who are carrying a lot and want care that is thoughtful, coordinated, and grounded in real life, not just theory.
Whether you are looking for help with anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, autism, relationship challenges, or major life transitions, the goal is to help you find the kind of care that actually fits you and what you are going through.
How we think about services
There is no single service that works for everyone. Some people start with individual therapy, some begin with medication support, and others are drawn to neurofeedback, groups, or testing to help them understand what is going on.
At Purple Sky Counseling, services are built around care that fits real life, collaboration across disciplines, and respect for complexity. Therapists, psychiatric providers, and other specialists can coordinate care when that is helpful, and we recognize that trauma, identity, neurodivergence, relationships, systems, and stress all matter.
This page is meant to give a clear overview and help you decide which service page to explore next, or simply to confirm that this is the right place to start.
Therapy services
Therapists at Purple Sky Counseling provide individual therapy for adults, child and teen therapy, couples therapy, and family therapy. Sessions focus on what you are carrying right now as well as the deeper patterns underneath, whether those are related to anxiety, depression, trauma, identity, relationships, or stress.
Approaches are trauma-informed and draw from evidence-based methods such as EMDR, DBT-informed care, and parts- and attachment-informed work when those are a good fit. You do not need to know which modality you need before you start; that is something you and your therapist can decide together.
Medication management
For some people, therapy alone is enough. For others, medication is an important part of feeling more stable and able to engage in life and in therapy.
Purple Sky Counseling offers medication management through psychiatric nurse practitioners who provide evaluations, prescribing support, and collaborative monitoring. When both therapy and medication are part of your care, providers can coordinate so you are not trying to bridge the gap between separate offices by yourself.
Testing and assessment
For many adults, questions about ADHD or autism only make sense later in life, after years of feeling too much or too different. Purple Sky Counseling offers adult ADHD and autism testing that is neuroaffirming and focused on clarity, not labels for their own sake.
Testing can help people understand their strengths and challenges, make sense of their history, and choose supports that better fit how their brain works.
Specialty and integrative services
In addition to counseling and medication management, Purple Sky Counseling offers specialty services that support emotional, neurological, and psychological wellbeing. These may include:
Neurofeedback
DBT skills groups
Crisis support and stabilization services
Integrative wellness approaches focused on trauma, stress, anxiety, and mood
Other services that deepen or support therapy work
These options are often used alongside ongoing therapy or medication management, especially when nervous system regulation, skill building, or more intensive support would be helpful.

Finding the right fit
You do not need to know exactly which service you need before reaching out. Many people simply know that anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship patterns, or overwhelm are making things harder than they need to be.
If you are not sure where to start, the intake team can help you sort through options, match you with a therapist, and talk about whether services like medication management, neurofeedback, or testing might fit what you are going through.
