About Cameron DuHadway, CMHC (She/They)

Hi, I’m Cameron DuHadway, CMHC. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Utah State University and my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grand Canyon University. My clinical background includes working in residential treatment settings supporting adults and emerging adults through complex challenges including trauma, mood disorders, substance use, and identity transitions.

I’m passionate about working with clients who have often felt misunderstood, unseen, or disconnected from themselves and others, especially those navigating neurodivergence, autism, complex trauma, PTSD, mood disorders, LGBTQ+ identity exploration, and religious or cultural transitions. Many of the people I work with come from difficult family systems, carry experiences of disrupted attachment, or have spent years adapting to environments where they didn’t feel fully accepted. I believe therapy should be a place where clients feel deeply understood, supported, and empowered to reconnect with their voice, boundaries, and sense of self.

My therapeutic approach is grounded in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and trauma-informed care, and I continue expanding my training in EMDR therapy to support deeper trauma processing and healing. I’m also a certified Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in Applied Behavior Analysis, which informs my affirming, strengths-based work with autistic and neurodivergent clients. I strive to create a therapeutic relationship built on compassion, curiosity, authenticity, and respect for each person’s unique lived experience.

Whether we’re unpacking survival patterns, healing attachment wounds, navigating identity development, or exploring the complexities of self-discovery, my goal is to help clients build greater self-trust, emotional resilience, and connection in their lives and relationships.

Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time outdoors hiking, backpacking, and cross-country skiing, as well as connecting with friends over board games. I’m an avid reader with a love for fantasy, science fiction, and books that expand my understanding of people and the world. I’m also a lifelong Dungeons & Dragons enthusiast and enjoy all things related to science, robots, animals, and imaginative storytelling.
