Hi, I’m Courtney
If you've spent years masking who you are, managing how other people experience you, or wondering why everything feels like it costs twice as much energy as it should, you are not broken. You might be Autistic. You might have ADHD. You might be navigating a gender or sexuality you've never had words for. Or you might have learned early that being yourself came with consequences. Any of those deserves a space that finally gets it.
I work with teens and adults, many of whom are neurodivergent, LGBTQIA+, or both, who are figuring out their identities, managing intense emotional experiences, and building lives that actually fit who they are. I also work with people who have been diagnosed with BPD or who are in that territory, without pathologizing them.
I hold strong values around affirming care. I don't approach LGBTQIA+ identity or neurodivergence as problems to be fixed.

DBT is the backbone of a lot of my work because it actually teaches skills: emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. I layer in EMDR for trauma, neurofeedback for nervous system regulation, and IFS and parts work for going deeper.
I adapt rather than prescribe, meeting each person where they are rather than applying a one-size-fits-all protocol. I also lead our DBT program and provide DBT training and consultation for other therapists on our team, so those skills stay sharp across the whole practice, not just in my own sessions.
