Hi, I’m Jane
There are experiences that most people talk around rather than through: what it's like when a disability in the family reshapes everything, what religious scrupulosity actually feels like from the inside, the particular grief of a faith you once believed in completely. These are things people often can't find language for in regular conversation. Therapy is where they should be able to land.
I work with children, teens, and adults navigating trauma, domestic violence, ADHD and autism, OCD and religious scrupulosity, and faith transitions. I have a specific interest in families affected by disability, having seen how often the siblings, parents, and partners of people with disabilities get left out of the support conversation.
I welcome LGBTQIA+ clients and especially appreciate working with people who have had experiences that were hard to find words for.

Religious scrupulosity is one of the most misunderstood presentations I work with. It shows up as what looks like extreme conscientiousness or moral perfectionism, and it can consume enormous amounts of mental and emotional energy. Understanding it well requires both OCD expertise and religious literacy. I've built both.
I use EMDR for trauma, ERP for OCD (including scrupulosity), schema therapy for long-standing patterns, and TF-CBT, CBT, DBT, ACT, and Gottman depending on what the client needs.
