Hi, I’m Leslie
Teenagers are sometimes the hardest people to get into therapy. Not because they don't need it, but because sitting down with a stranger and talking about what's wrong isn't exactly appealing when you're already exhausted and not sure anyone will actually get it. If you're a parent trying to support a teen who's struggling, I see you too.
I work with teens and adults navigating depression, anxiety, and the mood concerns that make daily life feel heavier than it should. I'm also well-equipped to work with parents who are supporting a teenager through something hard and need a place to think through it.
I'm direct and warm, and I believe therapy should feel like it's actually doing something. I am affirming of LGBTQIA+ individuals and welcome those in faith transitions.

DBT informs much of my work: emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness are skills that change people's lives. Within that framework I use EMDR, CBT, and IFS, adapting to where each person actually is.
I'm still building my clinical training and I'm honest about that. What I bring is genuine care, real attention, and a commitment to doing right by the people I work with.

Leslie is a Certified Social Worker working toward full licensure. Her work is supervised by Maggie Milligan, LCSW. Supervised care means a licensed clinician is actively involved in your treatment from the start. Associates here meet weekly with their individual supervisor, join biweekly group supervision, and take part in monthly consultation groups covering specialties like DBT, EMDR, and complex trauma, plus a monthly deep dive training built to sharpen skills and deepen expertise.
