About Leslie Hunter, CSW (She/Her)

Meet Leslie
Hi, I’m Leslie. I’m a Certified Social Worker with a Master’s in Social Work from Weber State University. I work with teens, families, and individuals who are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward. You might be here because your teen is struggling with school, emotional ups and downs, or bullying—whether they’re on the receiving end or acting out. Or maybe you’re a parent feeling discouraged and wondering how to reconnect with your child. Whatever your story is, I’m here to help you feel more supported, understood, and empowered.
I specialize in working with adolescents, parents, and individuals navigating anxiety, emotional dysregulation, ADHD, family conflict, and mood-related concerns. My approach is grounded in DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) and trauma-informed care. I also integrate mindfulness, psychoeducation, and strengths-based strategies to help you or your child build resilience, regulate emotions, and improve communication.
If you’re feeling stuck, disconnected, or overwhelmed—whether in parenting, relationships, or day-to-day life—I’ll meet you where you are. I believe healing starts with feeling seen and safe, and I’m here to walk alongside you as you explore new ways of understanding yourself and your relationships.
When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me outside with my family—rafting, camping, and exploring the rivers and red rock of Southern Utah.
