Hi, I'm Maggie
Maybe the faith that once explained everything no longer fits, and you're grieving and relieved at the same time. Maybe you're questioning who you are, your gender, your sexuality, your place in your family, and worried about what it costs to be honest. Maybe your brain has always worked a little differently and you're tired of being told to just try harder. Wherever you are, you don't have to sort it out by yourself.
I work with teens and adults navigating faith transitions, religious trauma, and deconstruction, LGBTQIA+ identity and gender exploration, ADHD and other neurodivergence, attachment wounds, and major life transitions. I support people through faith transitions and deconstruction rather than offering faith-promoting or LDS-aligned counseling.
I'm not going to push you toward any particular conclusion about your faith, identity, or relationships. My job is to help you make sense of your own experience and move toward something that feels steady and real. A lot of the people I work with have spent a long time managing how they're perceived; here, you get to put that down.

Therapy with me is collaborative and direct, never preachy. Depending on what you need, we may use EMDR, parts work (IFS and Ego States), motivational interviewing, NARM, ACT, and DBT skills. We move at your pace, holding space for both the loss and the freedom that come with change.
I'm especially drawn to faith transitions, identity development, and neurodivergence, and I try to balance warmth with honesty, because most people need both.
