Accepting New Clients

I’m a Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern passionate about helping clients navigate anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, identity exploration, faith transitions, and trauma with greater self-understanding and compassion. I work primarily with adolescents and adults who may feel stuck in painful patterns, disconnected from themselves or others, or uncertain about who they are becoming during seasons of change.

My approach to therapy is deeply relational, collaborative, and affirming. I draw from Person-Centered Therapy, Humanistic-Existential Therapy, Attachment Theory, and Interpersonal Process Therapy to help clients explore their emotions, relationships, and sense of identity in a safe and supportive environment. I believe healing happens through authentic connection, self-awareness, and feeling genuinely understood without judgment.

I especially enjoy working with clients navigating emerging adulthood, relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, religious trauma, faith transition, neurodiversity, and LGBTQ+ identity exploration. Many of the people I work with are trying to untangle how past experiences, family systems, attachment wounds, or societal expectations may be impacting their current relationships and emotional wellbeing. Together, we work toward deeper insight, emotional resilience, healthier relationships, and a stronger sense of self.

My clinical experience at Westminster University has prepared me to support early and middle adulthood clients through relationship challenges, anxiety, and major life transitions while helping them recognize and shift maladaptive relational patterns. Prior to graduate school, my experience as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) strengthened my ability to build trust, attune to emotional experiences, and create supportive therapeutic relationships with neurodiverse clients and children. Additionally, my work volunteering on a crisis hotline provided meaningful experience supporting individuals experiencing suicidality through empathy, emotional validation, and collaborative safety planning.

I have completed training in Assessing and Managing Suicide Risk (AMSR) and strive to create a therapy space that feels warm, affirming, and emotionally safe for clients of all backgrounds and identities.

Outside of therapy, I enjoy reading fantasy and science fiction, watching movies, playing video games, and spending time playing Dungeons & Dragons.
