Meet Nicole B

Hi, I’m Nicole. I’m a social worker and therapist passionate about helping individuals and families feel more supported, empowered, and connected to themselves through life’s challenges and transitions.

I earned my Bachelor of Social Work from Weber State University with a minor in psychology and completed my Master of Social Work at the University of Utah through the advanced standing program. I bring both clinical training and lived experience into my work, creating a therapy space that feels compassionate, collaborative, and genuinely supportive.

I specialize in working with neurodivergent individuals, including those with ADHD, autism (ASD), and OCD, as well as parents, caregivers, children, families, and individuals navigating chronic illness, anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns. I’m especially passionate about supporting mothers and pregnant individuals who may be struggling with emotional overwhelm, identity changes, burnout, or major life transitions.

My therapeutic approach combines warmth, practicality, and deep empathy. I primarily draw from DBT and CBT to help clients build coping skills, emotional regulation, and self-awareness, while also integrating Internal Family Systems (IFS) and parts work to support deeper healing and self-understanding. I am also pursuing additional training in EMDR therapy to further support clients healing from trauma and distressing life experiences.

I understand how easy it can be to lose parts of yourself when life feels heavy, overwhelming, or isolating. My goal is to help clients reconnect with their strengths, identity, and voice while building a life that feels more authentic, manageable, and fulfilling. I believe healing happens in safe and meaningful relationships, and I strive to create a space where clients feel fully seen, accepted, and understood without judgment.

I’m particularly driven to help neurodivergent individuals thrive in a world that often misunderstands them. Through both professional insight and personal understanding, I aim to offer validation, practical tools, and support that honors each client’s unique experience and way of moving through the world.

Outside of therapy, I enjoy hiking to waterfalls, kayaking, crocheting, reading romance and fantasy novels, writing poetry, exploring art, and spending time with my family. Creativity, curiosity, and connection are deeply important to me and influence the way I approach both life and therapy.
