Hi, I’m Reagan
You can explain the problem perfectly. You've turned it over from every angle, talked it through with friends, maybe read a few books about it. And you're still standing in the same spot you were a year ago, wondering why understanding something so well hasn't been enough to change it.
I see clients of all ages. Most often that means anxiety, depression, and stress, along with self-esteem, body acceptance, trauma, grief, and loss. I'm drawn to the seasons when identity, relationships, and life stages are all shifting at once, when the old description of yourself has stopped being true and the new one hasn't arrived.
What I offer first is a room where you're not managing anyone else's reaction to what you say. I'm warm rather than clinical, and I'd rather follow your curiosity than run a protocol at you. Working in psychiatric inpatient care and in schools taught me that people move when they feel steady, not when they feel pushed, so we build the steadiness first and let the harder material come when it's ready.

The therapeutic relationship comes first and collaboration follows from it. Within that I integrate Internal Family Systems to get curious about the different parts of you that want different things, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to clarify what you actually value, and a person-centered approach that keeps you in charge of the direction. I'm also trained in EMDR, which I use when something needs to be processed at the level where the body still holds it, not just talked about.
I'm especially drawn to the stuck places, the patterns someone can describe in detail and still can't step out of. Those are usually the most interesting rooms to be in.
