Hi, I’m Shannon
Divorce is its own kind of grief, especially when children are in the middle of it and the conflict doesn't stop after the paperwork does. Knowing what's right for everyone is hard enough without also needing to process your own loss on top of it.
I work with adults navigating divorce and high-conflict co-parenting, relationship challenges, trauma, anxiety, faith transitions, grief, and the life transitions that ask you to build an identity out of the pieces of the one that ended. Many of my clients are in the middle of big, unwanted change and trying to hold themselves together while everything shifts.
I'm deeply affirming of LGBTQIA+ clients and have both experience and training in working with that community.

EMDR processes trauma and stuck grief. IFS helps with the internal fragmentation that major life upheaval creates. Gottman principles inform relational work. Somatic experiencing adds a body-based layer for people whose stress has become physical.
I draw on CBT, TF-CBT, DBT, ACT, and parts work as the situation calls for. I'm direct and warm, and I work with people in the thick of hard things.

Shannon is a Certified Social Worker working toward full licensure. Her work is supervised by Ashlee Eixenberger, LMFT. Supervised care means a licensed clinician is actively involved in your treatment from the start. Associates here meet weekly with their individual supervisor, join biweekly group supervision, and take part in monthly consultation groups covering specialties like DBT, EMDR, and complex trauma, plus a monthly deep dive training built to sharpen skills and deepen expertise.
