Hi, I'm Storie
Maybe you've already done therapy, more than once, and you still feel stuck. Maybe you're the one who holds everyone else together, a mother, a caregiver, maybe even a therapist yourself, and you're quietly running on empty. Maybe your brain and body have been through more than most people realize. If you've started to wonder whether anyone can actually help, I'd like to try.
I work with teens and adults navigating complex and developmental trauma, including medical trauma, feeling stuck after previous therapy or carrying multiple diagnoses, AuDHD and neurodivergence, and chronic anxiety, depression, and nervous-system dysregulation. I especially love working with mothers, women stretched past their limits, and fellow therapists and helpers who need their own support.
I want our work to feel safe enough to go where it needs to go, and slow enough that you never have to white-knuckle through it. We move at the pace your nervous system can actually handle. I don't see complexity as a problem to manage; I see a person who has survived a lot and deserves care that can keep up.

My work is built for depth and paced for safety. I draw on EMDR and EMDR 2.0, Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR), parts work and IFS, neurofeedback, ACT, and DBT skills. Together we calm the nervous system, make sense of what happened, and help your body learn it's no longer back there.
I'm drawn to the people other clinicians find complicated, the ones who spend so much energy holding others and rarely get held themselves.
