Hi, I’m Taylor
Most people who get stuck in patterns they understand but can't change aren't lacking in insight. You've probably spent a lot of time figuring out the why. What's harder is changing the what, especially when your nervous system keeps pulling you back to what it knows.
I work with adolescents and adults on trauma, anxiety, relational stress, and ADHD. I also bring experience in crisis intervention and risk assessment, which means I'm not rattled by acute moments.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent over twenty years as a writer. I bring that to the room: an ear for language, a care for story, and an attention to how you're framing things that might be worth looking at.
-
I work primarily with CBT and TF-CBT, and I bring a trauma-informed lens to everything I do. I'm attentive to the way ADHD intersects with trauma, anxiety, and relational patterns, and I try to address those intersections rather than treating them separately.
My background as a writer and as a program director for a residential facility for women with disabilities and addiction gives me a wide lens. I've sat with a lot of different kinds of human experience, and I bring that breadth to the work.

Taylor is completing his master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. His work is supervised by Thomas Skousen, LCSW. Supervised care means a licensed clinician is actively involved in your treatment from the start. Associates here meet weekly with their individual supervisor, join biweekly group supervision, and take part in monthly consultation groups covering specialties like DBT, EMDR, and complex trauma, plus a monthly deep dive training built to sharpen skills and deepen expertise.
