Welcoming Nicole Burton, MSWi, to the Purple Sky Counseling Team

We’re so excited to introduce the newest member of our team, Nicole Burton, MSWi, who has joined Purple Sky Counseling as a therapist intern in our Farmington and South Ogden office!

Nicole is currently earning her Master’s in Social Work through the advanced standing program at the University of Utah, after completing her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and Psychology at Weber State University. She brings with her a heart for connection, a passion for holistic healing, and a deep understanding of what it means to navigate hard seasons of life.

Nicole’s warmth and authenticity shine through in her work with neurodivergent individuals, caregivers and parents, children and teens, and those living with chronic illness or mental health challenges. She has a special place in her heart for supporting pregnant individuals and mothers, especially those feeling overwhelmed, under-supported, or lost in the noise of life’s demands.

Nicole approaches therapy through a flexible, client-centered lens. She integrates DBT and CBT, draws on parts work (IFS-informed), and will be EMDR-trained this fall. She sees the whole person—mind, body, and environment—and believes healing happens when we reconnect with our truest selves.

"It can be easy to lose pieces of yourself and forget who you are in your journey through life. My goal is to help you rediscover and reconnect with who you are."

Beyond her clinical work, Nicole is a creative soul. When she’s not in session, you might find her hiking to waterfalls, reading fantasy novels, kayaking, crocheting, or writing poetry. She brings that same curiosity, creativity, and compassion into every session with her clients.
